Job Description
Job Title 1st shift Machine Operator
Job Location Carol Stream, IL
Job Shift 3:30am -2:00 PM some weekends and OT is mandatory
Pay Rate $18.00 per hour
Job Type Temp to Hire
Job Responsibilities:
o Runs Machines score, slot, form, or glue them, or folds blanks along scored lines.
o Measures box dimensions.
o Counts specified number of cartons and tie them into bundles for shipment.
o Checks quality; including registration, ink match, folding and sizes.
o Participate in Business Area Team (BAT) meetings.
o Complies with company policies and processes.
o Other duties as assigned.
o Directly supervises 2 to 5 employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization s policies and applicable laws.
o Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; and appraising performance (Team Leaders only).
Job Requirements:
o Must be eligible to work in the US, pass E-verify
o Must be willing to submit to background check- county.
o Must be willing to submit to a 10- panel drug screen.
o Strong customer service skills.
o Ability to work in a fast paced and hot environment
o Bi-Lingual English & Spanish a plus but not required.
Safety Equipment:
o Steel toe shoes
o Face shield (provide)
o Glasses (provided)
o Gloves (provided )
