Description: MIG/TIG Welder on a 2nd shift typically includes the following responsibilities and qualifications: Welding Skills: Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding processes, including the ability to set up and operate welding machines and equipment. Quality Control: Ensuring that welds meet quality standards and specifications. Teamwork: Collaborating with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency. Attention to Detail: Maintaining a clean and organized work area and performing preventative maintenance on welding machines. Certifications: Possessing a welding certification from an accredited training facility. Physical Demands: Standing for the entire shift, lifting up to 40 pounds, twisting, bending, and stooping as needed. Safety: Wearing required safety gear such as welding helmets, hearing protection, and safety shoes. These positions often require a combination of technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a team environment.
