Job Summary
Performs a variety of complicated tasks including diagnose, repair, preventive maintenance on all heavy equipment, and machinery. Performs maintenance service and repairs in the areas of plumbing, carpentry, painting, plastering, machine servicing, electrical or vehicle servicing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Pays attention to detail.
Perform skills, such as but not limited to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting, repair. Industrial electrical, PLC, pipe fitting, and troubleshooting skills.
Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.
Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments.
Removes defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools; examining form and texture of parts.
Troubleshoot electronics manufacturing equipment. Adjust or set mechanical controls or components.
Maintain and troubleshoot all systems in the building
Align or adjust clearances of mechanical components or parts.
Monitor equipment or machine operation to detect problems.
Position, align, or level machines, equipment, or structures.
Use electrical or electronic test devices or equipment.
Use hand or power tools.
Monitor operating conditions, lubricate machinery, equipment, or parts.
Knowledge of forklift, scissor lift operation, and other such equipment.
Reports any issues to supervisor or higher-level employee.
Following instructions based on work instructions.
Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies.
Comply and enforce company policies and legal guidelines.
Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities.
Performs any other duties assigned by management.
Good verbal communication skills.
Ability to read blueprints.
Ability to read measuring devices and have basic math skills of addition, subtraction and fractions. Familiarity with Metric and Standard Units.
Ability to read, listen, understand, and follow directions.
Ability to work in a variety of roles.
Able to work overtime as needed. Must be able to work scheduled hours and be on call to work nights and weekends as needed.
Must maintain a Forklift Certification and Current Driver s license.
18 months of experience in the maintenance field or in a related area field. Knowledge of PLC troubleshooting and repair preferred.
Knowledge of various power tools, hand tools, electrical, or electronic test devices or equipment.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Physical Demands
Prolonged periods standing and walking.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
Must be able to work in a varying temperature in a warehouse environment.
Regularly lift, push, pull and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Work Environment:
The employee may be exposed to extreme hot or cold temperatures, heights, and loud machinery or equipment. The employee may be exposed to hazardous chemicals.
