Description: Job Title: Data Entry Clerk Schedule: 1st Shift, 7:00 AM 3:00 PM Pay: $18/hour Location: Alsip Position Summary The Warehouse Clerk will support the Shipping Manager with daily shipping and receiving operations. This position is primarily clerical and does not involve physical labor. Responsibilities include accepting incoming deliveries, coordinating with drivers, preparing documentation, and maintaining accurate shipping/receiving records. The Warehouse Clerk ensures smooth workflow at the shipping docks and helps maintain organized and efficient operations. Key Responsibilities Greet and assist delivery drivers upon arrival. Direct drivers to the appropriate open dock doors. Receive and verify incoming shipments. Accurately complete, file, and organize all receiving and shipping paperwork. Communicate with the Shipping Manager regarding incoming freight and scheduling. Update logs, spreadsheets, and internal systems as required. Maintain a clean and organized clerical workspace. Ensure compliance with company shipping/receiving processes and safety policies. Provide administrative support to the Shipping Manager as needed.
