Job Position: Equipment Operator

Location: Plant City, FL 33566

Pay Rate: $18.00/hr

Shift: 1st Shift (Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: MUST HAVE EXPERIANCE IN SKID STEER AND FORKLIFT TWO YEARS MIN

Load handling includes trailer loading/unloading and sorting/staging materials in a variety of sizes & configurations.

Lift loads of up to 50 pounds (without straining oneself) Complete reports, load tickets or work forms.

Visually identify and separate nonconforming materials from incoming loads.

Safely operate equipment, work around operating equipment, manually handle non-uniform packages and objects (picking, pulling, pushing) as needed perform heavier lifts/moves as needed.

Maintain inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock, record location of inventory.

Prepare finished stock for shipment.

Document product shipments.

Carry out housekeeping and clean-up functions.

• Work assigned shifts, overtime as needed, day shift, mid shift, night shift, weekends, and holidays.

Perform additional duties as required, assigned, or instructed.

WORK ENVIROMENT:

• Must be able to work in an environment that could have elevated noise levels.

• Must be able to work in an environment with nuisance dust.

• Must be able to work in an environment with a presence of industrial and vehicle operations.

-Safety Gear (Hard Hat/ Ear Plugs/ Gloves/ Safety Vest)

Must have recent experience operating Skid Steer, Front Loaders, and Fork Truck equipment in both an indoor and yard environment.

Recent license or certification required

Must operate equipment in a safe manner and following all company and equipment regulations.
