Pay Rate: $19.50/hr

Shift: 2nd

Description: MAJOR ACTIVITIES CAS is interested in candidates who can readily: Follow heater bending processes to produce quality parts Measuring/testing - Electrical testing (hi-pot, ohm meter, meg ohms) In-process inspection Be safety conscious Inventory ensure all parts are available for customer s products; receive, count, pull parts Ensure accuracy of inventory transactions, completes documentation appropriate to job Become an active team member in pursuit of company goals of continuous operational improvement in production, service, quality, safety and leadership Ensure that all communication channels are used to share information quickly and accurately Have the flexibility to work in other departments as required DESIRED COMPETENCIES CAS is interested in candidates with the following capabilities, skills and experience: Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written along with active listening) with all organization levels and functions Ability to operate in a participative total quality management work environment utilizing empowered work teams Knowledge of measuring tools (i.e. scales, calipers) Mechanical aptitude Ability to read and understand prints, drawings, charts, graphs, shop paperwork Ability to understand quality specs Ability to plan and prioritize, attention to detail Math fractions, decimals, conversion of measurements Team membership skills Self-starter Computer literate
