Description: Job Title Maintenance / Cleaning Associate Job Location Palatine, IL Job Shift - 1st Shift 7:00am -3:30pm; OT available; 2 10 min breaks and a 30 min lunch Pay Rate $16.00 Hour The Cleaning person is responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment within the manufacturing facility. This includes cleaning common areas, restrooms, offices, and production areas. Key Responsibilities: Daily Cleaning: Sweep, mop, and scrub floors in all areas. Dust and wipe down surfaces, including desks, chairs, and equipment. Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and floors. Empty trash and recycle bins regularly. Clean windows and mirrors. Deep Cleaning: Perform deep cleaning tasks as needed, such as stripping and waxing floors, cleaning carpets, and removing heavy grime. Assist with cleaning and sanitizing production equipment. Safety: Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to supervisors. Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous cleaning experience, especially in a manufacturing or industrial setting, is desirable. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift heavy objects. Must be reliable and punctual.
