Job Summary: We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a facilities technician for our warehouse facility. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity for candidates with some experience in janitorial services and basic maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate will have a year of experience and possess the ability to perform a variety of cleaning and repair duties to maintain the cleanliness and functionality of our warehouse. Responsibilities:

• Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal, to maintain cleanliness throughout the warehouse facility.

• Inspect and maintain cleanliness of restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas, ensuring they meet sanitation standards.

• Identify and report maintenance issues, such as plumbing leaks, electrical problems, or damaged fixtures, to the appropriate supervisor.

• Assist with minor repairs and maintenance tasks, such as replacing light bulbs, repairing plumbing fixtures, or patching walls.

• Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively to complete repair tasks.

• Assist with moving furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed.

• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure all cleaning and maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and on schedule.

Requirements:

• Minimum of one year of experience in janitorial services or basic maintenance.

• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals used in janitorial work.

• Basic handyman skills, including the ability to perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks.

• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and orderly workspace.

• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

• Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed.

• Flexibility to work varying shifts and overtime as needed.
