*3rd shift: 11:30pm to 7:30am

Job Pay: $15.00 / hour.

The Production Lead is responsible for assisting the Production and Onsite Supervisor in the direct oversight, supervision, training, development, and support of our production and material handling employees. The lead duties are mostly hands-on and direct in nature and require that substantial time be spent on the plant floor working closely and directly with all shift employees.

Job Responsibilities: Ensures shift employees follow safe work practices and procedures consistently and completely and make sure associates wait for the relief. Works safely and is proactively involved in plant safety improvement efforts. Check in all employees to make sure they only work 40 hours. Can perform as a back up to the supervisor in his/her absence. Be able to perform cross-functionally with other departments. Initiates or suggests plans to motivate employees to achieve work goals. Double-checks, ensures accuracy, and finalizes production paperwork (time sheets) Communicates regularly and effectively with in-coming and off-going shift leaders about issues occurring on previous, current, or following shift. Performs activities of employees supervised, as needed. All other projects and duties, as assigned. Job Requirements: Minimum of 1- 2 years of successful manufacturing experience. Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred. Ability to work independently with minimum supervision to complete job tasks. Team player with ability to build lasting productive business relationships with hourly employees, management, and peers. Ability to effectively communicate information both verbally and in writing.
