Description:

The Crew Leader position is responsible for the daily operation of their respective assigned area. This includes training, daily job assignment, quality controls, and housekeeping.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Overall daily supervision of their immediate area.

Training new temporary workers in specific job tasks.

Training Harrell s workers in other jobs to increase their abilities.

Document temporary worker start and finish times.

Pulls individual batch samples during runs and verifies the quality of the sample to the batch sheet.

Maintains daily logging of batch start and stop times and documenting downtime reasons.

Utilize the established tools, processes, and quality control procedures to obtain defined efficiency and quality requirements.

Assist the Plant Production Supervisor by maintaining their assigned area to the procedures and protocols defined.

Provide daily feedback for any operational issues during the shift including safety, maintenance, and quality issues.

Ensure compliance with all Federal, State and Local ordinances affecting this position.

Ensure compliance with all Company policies and programs.

Other duties as assigned.

OTHER FUNCTIONS:

Experienced forklift operation.

EDUCATION:

Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent required.

WORK EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of three years in a manufacturing environment in a leadership role (having a minimum of three workers under their supervision).

Minimum three years forklift operation experience. Current license is a plus.
