Description:

The Company is looking for a highly motivated candidate to join our growing business as a Logistics Agent. The ideal candidate has excellent technical and organizational skills, along with the ability to multi-task in a high-paced customer-facing role. Three or more years of experience in a logistics role a plus, but not a requirement for the right candidate.

Job Duties/Logistics Qualifications/Skills Interface directly with suppliers, customers, third-party transportation companies and personnel to schedule inbound and outbound material loads

Organize and maintain records and reports related to shipping and receiving, customer service logs and safety records to help track performance data

Safely and efficiently perform assigned processes to meet the required daily logistics activities.

Ensure that specific customer requirements are met including generating special internal reports and facilitating customized transportation needs

Work with the Logistics Manager to resolve customer concerns relating to transportation and other logistical issues.

Assist with tracking of trailer assets on a real-time basis

Perform Data Entry

Good written and verbal communication skills

Must be proficient with Microsoft Office, most importantly Outlook and Excel

Able to work independently and within a team

The position s goals, objectives and duties will likely evolve as the business expands

Job Type: Full-time Salary: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour Benefits:

High school diploma or higher Experience:

Logistics: 3+ years (Preferred)

Customer service: 3+ years (Preferred)

Shipping, receiving, warehouse operations, inventory management: 3+ years (Preferred)

Knowledge of Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations (Preferred)

Experience processing shipments using UPS and FedEx software.

Work Location: One location in Plant City, FL
