Description: Job Title 3rd Shift Machine Operator Job Location 100 W Fay Addison, IL 60101 Job Shift 3:30pm-2:00am Pay Rate $19.00 per hour Job Description: Responsible for Program and Setup of CNC machinery in accordance with company quality procedures and standards Operates CNC Machines equipment to produce products in accordance with production needs Produces assigned products in accordance with verbal and written instructions Inspects parts and documents findings on appropriate paperwork as needed Maintains work areas in a clean, orderly and safe manner to include returning tools to designated areas Notifies management of product discrepancies, equipment malfunctions and/or personal injuries Performs other related duties as assigned Responsible for Program and Setup of CNC machinery in accordance with company quality procedures and standards. Duties and Responsibilities 1. Operates CNC Machines equipment to produce products in accordance with production needs. (Citizen, Star, Miyano and Tornos experience preferred but not required) 2. Produces assigned products in accordance with verbal and written instructions. 3. Inspects parts and documents findings on appropriate paperwork as needed. 4. Maintains work areas in a clean, orderly and safe manner to include returning tools to designated areas. 6. Notifies management of product discrepancies, equipment malfunctions and/or personal injuries. 7. Program/Setup CNC Machines. 8. Performs other related duties as assigned. Required Skills: *Basic Mathematical Skills: **Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Must be able to read and interpret Blueprints, GD&T, and understand basic tolerances required. Ability to setup/operate and run CNC machining equipment. Ability to inspect, use micrometers, comparators, thread gages, pin gages, drop indicator etc. Education/Experience: Prior work related experience required. 3 years plus performing setup on CNC machinery. Physical Demands: Requires constant movement in a variety of activities. Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.
