Job Position: Material Handler

Location: Aurora, IL 60502

Pay Rate: $18.00/hr

Shift: 1st

Schedule: Monday Thursday, 7:00 AM 5:30 PM


Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler to support daily warehouse and production operations at our Aurora, IL facility. This role is responsible for the safe handling, movement, and storage of materials to ensure efficient workflow and on-time production.

Key Responsibilities
Load, unload, move, and store raw materials, components, and finished products
Supply production lines with required materials as needed
Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks
Verify materials against pick lists, work orders, or shipping documents
Maintain accurate inventory counts and report discrepancies
Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
Assist with general warehouse duties as assigned

Qualifications
High school diploma or GED preferred
Prior experience as a material handler or in a warehouse/manufacturing environment preferred
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
Basic math and organizational skills
Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
Manufacturing/warehouse environment
Standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods
Exposure to moving machinery and equipment
