Description: Manual Press Operator Location: Carol Stream, IL Industry: Automotive Manufacturing Pay Range: $17 $19/hour (based on experience) Shift 1: M: 6:00 2:45 (OT to 4:30 latest) T-F: 5:00 2:45 (OT to 4:30 Latest) Shift 2: M-F: 5:00 PM 2:45 AM (OT to 4:30 AM latest) **Both shifts may require OT on Saturdays but communicated to team no later than Thursday. You ll set up and operate manual press machinery to transform raw materials into precision parts that meet exact product specifications. What You ll Do Operate and monitor manual press machines with precision and care Load, remove, and inspect materials, keeping quality and safety top of mind Make press and feed adjustments to keep production flowing smoothly Track production, maintain records, and report issues quickly Support continuous improvement through 5-S activities Ensure compliance with IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 standards Contribute to a positive, team-first culture What You ll Bring 1+ years experience as a machine or press operator Ability to read, speak, and follow instructions in basic English A flexible mindset, willingness to cross-train and support team goals Reliability and commitment to attendance and punctuality Availability to work required overtime when needed Why You ll Love Working Here Shift Differential: $1/hour extra for 2nd shift Career Growth: Training, cross-skilling, and advancement opportunities Safety & Support: A workplace built on compliance, teamwork, and respect
