Manufacturing Team Leader 2nd Shift

Location: Bloomingdale, IL
Pay: $26/hr (DOE)

Join a global manufacturer of stamped and welded components with operations across North America, Europe, and Asia. We re looking for a hands-on leader ready to drive production, support a team, and grow their career in a fast-paced environment.

Position Overview
Lead daily production activities while ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency goals are met. This role is ideal for a motivated leader who enjoys working on the floor and developing a strong team.

What You ll Do

• Supervise and support a production team in a high-volume environment

• Plan and assign work to meet schedules and deadlines

• Monitor output, quality, and team performance

• Train and onboard new employees

• Maintain production records and track materials

• Enforce safety standards and company policies

• Identify and implement process improvements

Leadership Responsibilities

• Coordinate with other departments for materials and equipment

• Lead team meetings and communicate goals

• Coach, mentor, and evaluate team members

• Drive productivity, quality, and cost improvements

Schedule

• 2nd Shift: 5:00 PM 1:45 AM

• Flexibility required up to 4:30 AM and occasional Saturdays

• Training on 1st Shift (6:00 AM 2:45 PM) for 4 6 weeks

What We re Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent

• 2 3+ years of manufacturing experience (leadership preferred)

• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

• Experience with stamping/welding operations a plus

• Knowledge of safety and quality standards

• Mechanical aptitude; Lean or Six Sigma experience is a bonus
