Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable individual to join our team as a Packer. The primary responsibility of the Packer is to ensure the accurate packing of items in accordance with pick tickets while maintaining the quality and integrity of the products. This role plays a crucial part in our operations, as it directly impacts the efficiency and effectiveness of our distribution process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review pick tickets to determine the items to be packed and the quantities required.

• Retrieve items from designated storage areas, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

• Inspect items for quality and freshness, discarding any damaged or spoiled products.

• Pack items into designated containers or packaging materials, following specific instructions and guidelines.

• Label containers with accurate product information, including batch numbers and expiration dates.

• Ensure that packed items are arranged securely to prevent damage during transit. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the packing area, adhering to sanitation and safety standards.

• Communicate any discrepancies or issues with inventory or packing materials to the supervisor promptly. Collaborate with other team members to meet production goals and deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a warehouse or packing role preferred.

• Must speak English

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills. Basic math skills for counting and recording inventory.

• Physical stamina to lift and move items as required. Familiarity with refrigerated or perishable goods handling is a plus. Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
