Description: Job Title 1st shift Metal Polisher Job Location Itasca, IL Job Shift 7AM - 3:30PM Pay Rate $21 per hour Job Type Temp - Hire Benefits Medical, PTO, Holiday Pay, Total Staffing benefits are offered during your contract period. Responsibilities: Grind, sand, and polish metal surfaces to meet specifications Remove dents, scratches, and other surface defects Inspect materials for flaws, cracks, and imperfections Mark cracks and splits for repair Maintain a clean and organized work area Read and follow work instructions, safety procedures, and shop drawings Complete required production and quality documentation Ensure finished products meet company quality standards Maintain and properly use polishing equipment Follow OSHA safety guidelines and procedures at all times Qualifications: Previous experience in metal polishing or related field preferred Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and polishing equipment Strong attention to detail and quality Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Dress code: Casual Clothing, nothing open or ripped. No nail polish/fake nails/no jewelry Responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining box-making machinery to produce boxes to specific requirements. This includes ensuring quality, adhering to safety protocols, and performing routine maintenance on the equipment.
