Job Position: Press Brake Operator
Location: Carol Stream,IL60108
Pay Rate: $25.65/hr
Shift: M- Th 6:30pm - 5am
Essential Responsibilities:
Operate and set up press brake and fabrication equipment (Amada, Salvagnini, manual machines)
Read and interpret blueprints, material gauges, and tolerances
Adjust machine settings, troubleshoot issues, and maintain program files and tooling
Perform quality checks (first/last piece, measurements, and defect inspection)
Verify materials, remove burrs/coatings, and move parts to next workstations
Maintain inventory accuracy, complete documentation, and follow SOPs
Communicate effectively with team and report issues to leadership
Maintain a clean, safe work environment and support continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications & Skills:
1 4 years of press brake or fabrication experience preferred
Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools (calipers, tape measure, etc.)
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Ability to operate fabrication equipment and basic computer systems
Self-motivated team player with strong communication skills
High school diploma or GED preferred
Physical & Additional Requirements:
Ability to stand 6 8 hours and lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to operate forklifts/order pickers (preferred)
Experience with shipping systems or MRP/QAD a plus
Must follow all PPE and safety requirements
