Press Brake Operator

Location: Cicero, IL
Shift: 2nd Shift | 3:30 PM 12:00 AM
Pay Rate: Competitive (based on experience)

Job Responsibilities:

Set up and operate a variety of CNC and manual press brakes

Perform press brake setups on Amada, Accupress, and Cincinnati machines

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and written work orders for formed parts

Fabricate parts according to specifications and required tolerances

Maintain all shop equipment, tools, and fixtures to ensure proper operation within the forming department

Complete accurate production documentation, including:

First-piece inspections

Quantity of parts produced

Defective units per job

Reporting non-conforming items or shortages to QC Inspector or Supervisor

Ensure quality standards and safety procedures are followed at all times

Qualifications & Skills:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide small, medium, and large numbers

Proficient in using tape measures, calipers, and other measuring devices

Ability to read decimal charts and simple to complex drawings

Experience working within specified tolerances

Strong attention to detail and record-keeping skills

Prior press brake experience preferred
