Description: Job Title 2nd shift Production Associate Job Location Aurora, IL Job Shift 2pm, 4pm Pay Rate $18.00 per hour Job Description: Production Associates are responsible for accurately preparing and packing ingredients for at-home recipe meal kits. Essential Functions: Follow guidelines for proper assembly and production of food kit boxes on the assembly line. Respectfully support and follow direction from all managers and supervisors about line performance. Ensure all actions better the business of the company and do not break any company policies. Reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the Quality Assurance and / or Supervisor. Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations. Occasionally required to prepare ingredients using tools such as food scales, measuring spoons and cups, etc.. As needed. Clean and general warehouse maintenance Perform other tasks as directed by supervisor/managers Job Requirements: This is a cold, wet, environment with exposure to chemicals that requires standing, lifting, reaching, and twisting for 8 hours or until the job is completed. Able to stand on your feet and work between 8-12 hours per shift Able to grasp objects and lift up to 50lbs. Able to work in a cold prep area located in a walk-in refrigerator kept at 35 degrees Able to withstand temperatures ranging from 30 degrees Fahrenheit to 80 degrees Fahrenheit Regular and timely attendance High School Diploma or equivalent Attention to detail and quality control Able to work as part of a team and individually Ability to read, write, and understand English Must be at least 18 years old Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, stoop, reach and lift for 10 hours with or without reasonable accommodation. The employee is required to use hands to handle, or feel objects and/or tools. The employee must regularly lift and move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds with or without assistance.
