Job Position: Quality Inspector

Location: Aurora, IL 60502

Pay Rate: $18.50/hr

Shift: 1st

Description: Associate is responsible for instructing, monitoring, and maintaining the Quality Assurance procedures throughout the quality system. The quality control inspector is a member of the quality department and reports to the Quality Manager.

Key Responsibilities and Specific Accountabilities:
Works with instructions, blueprints, engineering drawings, BOM and other
specifications.
Performs first article, receiving, in-process, and final inspection and maintains all related
documentation as per ISO/IATF
Helps train new employees in proper assembly techniques and methods.
Monitor operations to ensure that they meet quality standards
Inspect, test, or measure materials or products being produced
Measure products with rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometers
Operate electronic inspection equipment and software
Perform data entry and information retrieval using Microsoft Office and other software.
Support other Quality Department functions as needed

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
Two years experience in the quality field/ manufacturing preferred
Experience with metal fabrication preferred
Ability to effectively read and interpret engineering drawings
Accurate use of metrology instruments
Perform tasks with limited or no supervision
Maintains accuracy and attention to detail always and completes tasks in a timely manner
Knowledge of dimensional, visual, and mechanical inspection processes
