Position: Scrap Handler

Pay Rate: $18.00/Hr.

Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Total Staffing Solutions, in partnership with a growing company in Bolingbrook, is hiring several Scrap Handler Associates!

The Scrap Handler Associate opportunity is temporary to permanent on the First Shift, 6:00 am 2:30 pm, Monday Friday.

The Scrap Handler Associate will earn $18.00 & $1.00 pay increase once hired.

Scrap Handler Associate Job Summary: The Scrap Handler Associate will convert foam in to bundles for recycling using the Bailer and Foam Densifier.

Scrap Handler Associate Job Responsibilities:

Feed foam scrap into bails and logs.

Assist shipping when needed.

Follow job tickets when necessary.

Move materials processed to other process in the factory as needed.

Assist in other areas as needed.

Follow all rules and regulations.

Follow all safety guidelines when running the equipment.

Keep a safe clean area around the equipment for your safety and the safety of others

Scrap Handler Associate Requirements:

Requires its operator to manually guide foam into the equipment and stack bails/logs on pallets.

Standing is required for the duration of the shift.

The ability to lift 50+ pounds.

Push and or pull materials using pallet jacks, carts, and 2-wheelers.

Total Staffing and QFS does not provide any transportation resources or meals for our associates during any assignments. You are responsible for your own meals and coordinating getting to and from the job site through your own resources.
