Schedule: Saturday, Sunday & Monday, 4:00 AM 5:30 PM

Total Staffing Solutions, Powered by Total Talent Resources, is hiring a Weekend Security Guard in Joliet, Illinois!

Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable, alert, and detail-oriented Security Guard to support our client, Western Post, in maintaining a safe and secure warehouse environment. This position is responsible for monitoring facility access, conducting routine security checks, documenting activity, and promptly reporting any unusual, suspicious, or unsafe activity.

A manager will review each applicant s work experience to determine the best fit based on skills and experience. Please be prepared to discuss your previous work history during the interview.

Responsibilities

• Monitor facility entrances and exits and verify employee and visitor credentials.

• Conduct routine interior and perimeter walkthroughs.

• Monitor and report unusual, suspicious, or unsafe activity.

• Complete security logs and maintain accurate documentation.

• Promptly report security concerns and incidents to management.

• Support incident documentation and reporting as needed.

• Follow all Western Post safety and security policies and procedures.

• Maintain a professional and respectful presence when interacting with employees, visitors, and management.

• Communicate security concerns clearly and promptly.

• Assist with maintaining a safe and secure warehouse environment.

• Perform other security-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Prior security experience required; warehouse security experience preferred.

• Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

• Strong attention to detail and situational awareness.

• Ability to accurately complete security logs and documentation.

• Must remain alert and attentive throughout the assigned shift.

• Ability to follow written instructions, policies, and security procedures.

• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance required.

• Professional communication and conduct required.
