Job Position: Turret Set Up Operator

Location: Cicero, IL 60804

Pay Rate: $20.00/hr

Shift: 2nd Shift

Description: Turret Set-Up / Operator (CNC Amada)

Location: Cicero, IL
Shift: 2nd Shift | Monday Friday | 3:30 PM to Midnight

Pay Rate: $20.00

Job Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC Amada Turret machines

Perform full machine setups, including tool changes, programming, maintenance, and light troubleshooting

Load and unload sheet steel efficiently to meet production demands

Sharpen punches as required to maintain production quality

Verify that tooling and materials match job routers, drawings, and written specifications

Monitor production to ensure parts meet quality and tolerance requirements

Maintain accurate production documentation, including:

First-piece inspections

Quantity of parts produced

Defective units per job

Communication of non-conforming items or shortages to QC Inspector or Supervisor

Follow all safety, quality, and company procedures

Qualifications & Skills:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide small, medium, and large numbers

Proficient with tape measures, calipers, and other measuring devices

Ability to read decimal charts and simple to complex drawings

Experience working within specified tolerances

Strong attention to detail and documentation skills

Prior Amada Turret experience preferred
